Kerstin Enderlein Photographer
Images Portrait
Kerstin Enderlein spent the majority part of her life on or by the water. Raised in Neubrandenburg, in the middle of the beautiful Mecklenburg Lake District, studied in Rostock and LuleƄ at the Baltic Sea in Sweden. She kept her fascination for the water. Currently she is working as a freelance editor for a regional TV station in Neubrandenburg, that's what gives her the opportunity, to capture the region and its people very acutely.
She does not only take pictures to achieve results, but to be outdoors, to breath, to experience atmospheres and to see nature, like it is, when the rest sleeps. Within that the photos are always just a part of these experiences and therefore only a small reflection of what nature, humans, technique and art are able to show. Her impressive images show a variation of complexity, contradiction and coincidence.
Life in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania influenced these images. The fascinating interaction of dynamics, peace and light invite her again and again to the play with the camera.
