David Deveson Photographer and Film Director
Images Portrait
David's images can't be defined by special topics or regions and still those pictures are very special. His visual language is very emotional, striking and artistic. Every single image tells a whole story about the persons shown and their environment.
David lives in Rome. Ex Graphic Designer, Art Director and Creative Director for McCann-Erickson and Ogilvy & Mather in Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain and Portugal. The last fifteen years have been spent as a Freelance Commercial Film Director working throughout Europe during which time he also opened a Production House, BFCS & Partners, in Milan.
Photography has always been a favourite pastime and is taking over more and more from other interests which also include an autobiography that rapidly turned into a written and visual scrap book of the 20th. Century.
While always available for projects such as the series of photographs of the Kingdom Centre in Ryadh and recording life in a particular place such as the series taken in Lamu, for him the delight of photography is being on his own looking for magic moments seen from a new angle and when time is frozen to bring a smile back at the memory.
A far cry from the ordered chaos of a film crew.
