Cornelia & Ramon Dörr Photographers
Images Portrait
Cornelia and Ramon are big nature and animal lovers and therefore our specialists for animals and landscapes.
It is worth mentioning that they don't only report from distant countries, but also capture Germany's and Europe's natural landscapes.
Cornelia, born 1963, and Ramon, born 1961, live in Chemnitz and both are members of the German Society of animal photographers.
"When I bought my first single-lens reflex camera in the early nineties and went on a journey to Costa Rica, I never believed, that nature photography would be such a tremendous
importance for my future. Looking through the camera, I learned to be more attentive and to muster enough patience in order to capture the variety and beauty, that nature has in store for us.
Since then nature photography has become more and more essential for me and is a very important part of my life today. I am always in search of special motives in nature. In doing so I let my intuition guide me.
Through the years of my photographic enthusiasm, my husband Ramon also discovered a penchant for photography. His main emphasis particularly concentrates on animal photography.
In this connection he devotes himself to the behaviour, special habitats and protection of endangered species. As enthusiastic nature photographers we have already travelled through many countries on various continents. We have developed a special interest in the african fauna as well as the landscape of Patagonia, shaped by wind and ice, the sterile tableland of the Andes, the rain forests of Central America and the deserts of Africa and North America.
But also in domestic regions we continue to try to and discover the quiet remaining natural landscapes."
