Wolfgang is one of the youngest members in our team, and as yet does't have just one topic which he focuses on. Sometimes he takes photos of Tibet, sometimes of the Alps and at other times he captures Venice, however all his photos manage to portray the heart and soul of these diverse places. Besides his images of nature, he shows huge talent for portraits of people, action shots as well as reports.
Wolfgang Sommer, born 1981, is devoted to landscape and nature photography. He prefers to take images of the Alps, central and nothern Italy, Croatia and his homeland, southern Styria. In summer 1999 he travelled around Tibet for the first time. Together with Bruno Baumann he walked to the source of the river Indus. Fascinated by the clear atmosphere of that elevated plain, he travelled around Tibet for a second time two years later.
His images have been published in various journals and magazines. In addition to this he studies electrical engineering at Technical University in Graz. Due to his interest for technology, he takes product shots for companies in the technology sector as well.
