Torben is our specialist in scuba-diving and apnoea-diving, diving gear and marine fauna. He cannot resist those rare sea dwellers he seeks to find at the beauteous and colourful coral reefs off the coast of the Philippines. From time to time he also pays a visit to fresh waters and to land. Torben mainly reports from the Philippines, which he has chosen as his homeland.
No matter if under or above the ocean's surface - Torben knows the diving paradises of Palau, Philippines and Micronesia like the back of his hand. Even the cold waters of Scandinavia don't put him off diving.
As a techie and specialist in compressors, he brings with him a specialist knowledge of diving gear and even produces product shots of such equipment.
Torben lives and works in Manila. He also reports on traditions, beautiful regions for hiking and interesting places for excursions.
